I am a Hoku, (Hawaii's "Grammy"), award winning Classical/Popular/Hawaiian Slack Key Guitarist and Singer.

 

I have performed at Hawaii's top Hotels, Restaurants, Weddings, Corporate functions, steady engagements and concerts, (in Hawaiii, Japan and California).  My ten, international recordings have recieved critical acclaim and have sold over 100,000 units, worldwide.

Lee Eisenstein, longtime Hawaii resident , virtuoso classical guitar concert and recording artist and Hoku (Hawaii’s Grammy) award winner, was described by Dick Rorbach of the Los Angeles Times as,” A single guitarist so good, he can make you cry.”

 

Lee is one of the few non-Hawaiian artists to have received the prestigious, Hoku Na Hano Hano (Hawaii’s Grammy) Award from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts.Lee's, "Songs For A Dreamer" recording was the featured in-house music of the IMAX Theater Waikiki.  Lee’s holiday release, “Christmas Songs For A Dreamer”, was the number one most requested holiday release on the nationally syndicated radio show, “Celestial Sounds”. Lee’s “Songs For A Dreamer” release was included among several U.S. radio, “Best of ‘96” lists.

 

Lee recorded nine releases with historical woodwind player, Brad White.

 

Lee Eisenstein has performed at the prestigious. Cabrillo Music Festival, Berkeley and San Francisco Guitar Festivals, 1750 Arch St. Theater, Berkeley (broadcast live thruout Californina on KPFK and affiliated radio stations), Flower Expo in Osaka, Japan and many others.

 

His new CD release, "Hawaiian Flow Guitar Magic", features a unique guitar sound, with music from many different styles for which he is known, most with a strong, Hawaiian influence, including two slack key compositions by Hawaiian Music great, Keola Beamer. Classical works, Eric Satie’s favorite, “Gymnopedea #1 and Bach’s, “Air On a G String are included.

 

Hawaiian and Delta Airlines have featured Lee’s “Songs For A Dreamer” during their in flight music channel. At the request of former Honolulu Mayor Jeremy Harris, Mr. Eisenstein was the featured performer at his Election Eve Celebration and Inaugural Ball. In addition to numerous local and mainland TV and radio appearance.  His original music has been featured in many local television spots and videos including the award winning program , “Emmi’s Island Moments”, television specials.

 

Lee’s has played for and his list of fans have included, Robin Williams, Former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, Jim Nabors, Honolulu Mayor Jeremy Harris, Hawaii U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye, rock superstars Iron Maiden, (Lee was hired to play music for lead guitarist, Dave Murray’s, wedding reception), The Kingston Trio,  and many others.
